I don't know, but I feel happy today. At work, time just flied. It was as if my biological clock was switched off, due to the Daylight Saving Time... as if it wasn't really the time the clock indicated. Heh. But anyway, what made me really happy, was that I saw some lambs, sleeping in the sun. Sleeping animals are fantastic, like my cat. It may sound stupid, but he's best when he's asleep. I would take this even further: if you put a picture of a sleeping lamb, cat, bunny, giraffe (or whatever animal rocks your boat) on every street corner, there would be a whole lot less crime. I mean, who could pull the trigger when faced with this?

So, here I am, at work. And guess what, I don't care anymore. Haha. Customers will complain, no matter how much you do your best. It's not like I make an awful lot of money, so why should I work hard? ...hmm, let me re-phrase that: There are worse things in the world. Like war. Or SARS. And I'm busy enough feeling bad about mankind and its everlasting quest for power. Just let me be, one with nature... alone by the keyboard. Thank you. Also, floaters suck.

I saw a pheasant yesterday. It was running (I don't know if you ever saw a pheasant running, but it's rather slow) in front of the car (I know that cars suck, but until I quit my job, carpooling is a necessary evil), down the street. Pretty cool. Oh, and I got my bike, it's really cool, I also got my LEC Entertainment Pack (which doesn't include DOTT, as I said earlier, but Sam & Max), and my 'Another Castle' tee and 'EightBit' hoodie. I'm especially pleased with the last two items, mainly because the shipping was superb. Thank you, GameSkins!

Love. Argh. Yes. I didn't feel so well today (yes, blah blah love, uncertainty, a woman... you know the stuff). Anyway. Talking to someone helps. So, anyway. I am like totally addicted to buying stuff, I guess. Oh well, right now I can still afford it... Yeah, I know you want to know what I bought. I'm waiting for all of this stuff to be delivered, but everything I ordered online or offline so far, has come. Right, down to business. Offline, I bought a bicycle. Nice, isn't it? I was sick of all the mountain bike stuff, and I wanted a rigid bike, that I can use for just about anything. Also, cars suck. I happen to feel very strongly about this, and I'm happy that other people share my opinion. But that's not what I was talking about. I was talking about what I bought. Not very interesting, I know, but I still like you to know that I'm a gamer/geek, so I bought the following items: one LucasArts Entertainment Pack (the Dutch version, with DOTT in stead of Sam & Max, one Mojo T-shirt, one Eightbit hoodie and one Another Castle tshirt.

Whoa, this is great. At work, we are near this sort of really big bakery industry type of building, and right now, I smell the freshly-baked bread. Really very stimulating and relaxing. Much better than the usual nicotine odour. Anyway, onto a completely different subject (I'm full of surprises): broadband Internet. Quite a lot of companies advertise for broadband Internet. That's good. But what do they give as the main reason for it? Online gaming. They want to make people believe that their kids need ASDL or Cable to play a racing game. That's right, a racing game. We're not talking RPGs here, or something like that, no, racing games. And the worst thing is, according to those companies, your kids are currently playing racing games over the Internet, through a telephone line. I don't know if you ever tried that (I haven't), but I can just guess that that won't work. Lag here, lag there, lag everywhere, until someone just decides to quit. Or the phone line quits. So, only take broadband Internet if you need it for work or study or if you're a geek, but don't take it if you have kids. In stead, teach them how to do things in real life, like painting or reading, for instance.

Whoa whoa whoa, I have a Wacom tablet now (see previous post, I got the Graphire 2). And it rules, it simply rules. Cost me 103 whopping Euros, but it's well worth its money. I was thinking about making a comic, but I realise that that is really very difficult discipline. But I really like how you can make great things with it, without spending all the paint and paper. A nice bonus was that the package included Painter Classic, with which I was able to make a masterpiece (ahem), in a not very extremely long time. Also, Idols (or American Idols for you Yanks) sucks big time.

Okay, before we begin, something for the Dutch readers: Bokhoven Bouw sucks (don't you ever choose them if you're renovating your house; they just damage the neighbours' property, and they don't care; so whatever you do, do not choose them). Sky Radio sucks (two words: Celine Dion). Hans Blix rules. With that out of the way, let's begin. I just had my first whiskey, and it is terrible. Argh, I don't know how the British can get that through their throats... maybe I should try the Irish variant? Nah... I guess I should stick to what I like best: Ruby Port. Yumbo (I just had to say that). Let me see, anything else...? Ah yes, if everything works out the way it should, I'm buying a Wacom tablet tomorrow. But I'll tell you about that later, or I won't have anything to talk about tomorrow. Wink, wink. Also, someone should kill Colin Powell.*

Sorry? What was that? Ah, okay. You see, I couldn't hear you, because there was a bird singing in my ear. Yeah, spring is in the air, love is in the air, can you feel it, huh! Heh, yeah, I'm happy. The prospect of starting a new career is getting closer and closer, and the weather very much helps my mood. And although I still don't like my boss, I am going to live with it. I shall have fun, and I shall not worry. Muwahaha. Before the end of the year, I will have started towards my English translator Bachelor's degree (okay, okay, so it will take four years; so what?). Er... from and to Dutch, that is. I wish that some other people would think more about how beautiful a world we live in, in stead of wanting to wipe entire countries off of that world.

Well, Microsoft did something good for me yesterday. For a change. I made a network, using the existing connections of my shared Internet cable connection. The wizard in XP is really easy to use, and... it works! For a change. So now I can do stuff on my desktop and laptop without having to carry diskettes around the house. So yeah. Also, I'm searching for something to waste my time on. I was thinking of making a comic, but I don't know yet. Also, I hate my boss, and I am mucho looking forward to quittin' my friggin' job! Argh!
